Can we give a discount to people who buy eGift cards?

Yes. The eGift settings let you add a discount with a title, a percentage off and a minimum purchase.

Can we sell gift cards, both digital and plastic?

Yes. Turn on eGift cards for guests to buy, and order printed cards with your branding from Plastic Printers to sell and redeem on Selflane POS.

eGift cards: list by year; open a card to download it as a PDF, resend the email, fix the recipient's email, or give it a card number.
Printed cards: order branded cards from Plastic Printers, then sell and redeem them on Selflane POS. Selling and redeeming them needs the business's member (loyalty) program, which the POS uses to issue and look up the cards.
Store gift cards: gift cards sold on in-store orders, with how many sold and the revenue.
The eGift section shows how many sold, revenue and remaining balance.
On the POS, selling: while taking an order, the gift card button opens the Gift Card Center. Sell Selflane Gift Card takes one or more printed cards by scan or number with a value for each; they activate once the order is paid in full and the receipt shows each card's number and balance. Check Balance looks up any printed card. You can also issue a Paper Gift Certificate (if you use gift certificates) or activate, add funds to, check or deactivate a processor Physical Gift Card on a PAX terminal.
On the POS, redeeming: Pay › Gift Card takes Selflane printed cards by Number or barcode and eGift cards by QR code on Scan, processor cards on Card, and paper certificates on Certificate. A card that doesn't cover the bill leaves the rest due.
