Sold out (86) and daily limits
Mark a whole menu, a course, a dish, a combo or a single modifier choice as run out (86'd), from the back office or the POS, and set a daily count for a dish that warns POS staff once it's reached.

What's included
Menus, courses and dishes
Build your menu in three levels — menus (Food, Drinks, Happy Hour), courses (Appetizers, Desserts) and dishes — choose where each one is offered: in store, online or on third-party apps, and set aside catering menus for catering orders.
Modifiers and choices
Add option groups to dishes — sizes, sides, toppings, cooking temperature — with prices, required or optional picks, and min/max limits.
Combos
Bundle dishes into a combo with two or more groups (e.g. a burger, a side, a drink) and set how each pick is priced.
Take orders on the POS
Ring up dine-in, pick-up and delivery orders (and drive-thru when it's on) from the Make Order tab: choose a table or a pickup time, add items with their modifiers, seats and hold times, attach the customer or loyalty member, then send it to the kitchen.
- Dishes have quick In stock / Online / 3rd party switches right in the dish list.
- A daily limit (0 = no limit): once that many have sold today the POS warns staff and a manager must approve selling more. It doesn't cap online orders. The dish list shows today's sold count.
- An 86 stays on until you switch it back. After changing it in the back office, press Publish to POS so open registers pick it up.
- 86 a single modifier choice (e.g. one sauce). If too few choices are left to meet a required minimum, the dishes using it can't be ordered and the screen warns you.
- On the POS: Make Order › gear › 86 Items, after a manager approves. Items lists dishes by course and Options lists modifier groups and their choices, each with an In stock switch; search, or tap 86'ed to see only what's off. It also flags dishes blocked by an 86'd required group or past today's limit. Changes made here reach the other registers on their own.
- While taking an order, an 86'd dish or choice is marked unavailable; staff can still add it with a manager's approval.
- Sold-out dishes are left off the downloadable PDF menu.
