What's included
POS app settings
Choose how the POS works day to day: business-day start, clock-in rules, order flow, quick-service mode, to-go types, gift certificate types, reports and the waitlist.
Timesheets and labor cost
See every clock-in by day or by week, fix or add timecards, and track labor cost against net sales.
- Turn meal breaks on or off (rules are kept when off).
- Minimum break length: block staff from resuming early, or warn and allow.
- Minimum minutes worked before a break can start.
- On the POS: clocked-in staff tap Break in Staff Self Service and Resume on the orange on-break banner. The banner shows when the break started and the minutes elapsed; when early returns are blocked it counts down the minutes left.
- When a rule stops a break from starting or ending ("Can't start a break yet" / "Can't resume yet"), a manager can tap Manager Override and sign in. The person on break can't pick themselves, and the approval is recorded against that manager.
- Break time shows on the timecard list, on the clock-out summary and on the printed punchcard.
