Printers on each iPad
Each POS iPad has its own list of printers under More › Printers, choosing which printer handles its receipts and which handle kitchen, bar, label and expo tickets. You can copy the list from another iPad and check or clear the print queue.

What's included
Receipts and kitchen tickets
Control what prints on customer receipts, expo tickets and kitchen tickets — copies, layout, font size, languages, logos and messages.
A screen per station
Each kitchen screen can show only the items for its print targets (Kitchen, Kitchen 2–4 under your own names, Bar, Label), only certain order types, or only orders rung in at certain POS stations — so grill, fryer and expo each see their own — and it can also list what other stations still owe on the same order.
- Roles. When you add a printer you pick one or more roles: Front (this iPad's receipts; the cash drawer opens through it), Kitchen, Kitchen 2, Kitchen 3, Kitchen 4, Bar, Label and Expo. Kitchen 2–4 show the names set in the back office. One printer can take several roles, and every iPad that sends to a shared kitchen printer needs it assigned too.
- Supported printers. Epson and Star thermal and impact printers, connected by Ethernet or Bluetooth. Recommended: Epson TM-T20II or the faster TM-T88V, and Star mc-Print3. For color kitchen tickets, use the Epson TM-U220 or Star SP700 impact printers, which are slower.
- Adding one. + opens Discover Printer, which scans the network and lists Epson and Star printers. Add Printer Manually takes an Epson model and IP address for networks where discovery doesn't find it. The iPad must be on the same Wi-Fi as the printers, and the screen shows the iPad's network name and IP.
- Test or remove. Tap a printer to see its details, Print Test or delete it. You can also swipe to delete.
- Copy from another device. Copy another iPad's printers in the same business instead of re-adding each one. Fill missing adds only the roles this iPad lacks. Replace makes the list match the other iPad exactly and needs the owner's account. You can test print the copied printers at the end.
- Printer Job Queue (the printer button with a count) shows current jobs and future jobs held for later orders. Each job has Send Now, Delete and View Order. Clear Queue removes every queued job at once and needs a manager to sign in.
- Not confirmed at printer. An orange dot marks tickets the printer did not confirm. Check the printer, then tap Re-send or Looks fine. Turn the alerts off under More › Settings › Printer Confirmation.
- Receipt Width is 48 columns (common), 42 (narrow) or 32 (for example Star mPOP). It is set automatically when you add a Star printer.
- The gear button lists this iPad's printer and PAX terminal IP addresses.
