What's included
Pause, delay or close online ordering
Control when online orders come in: set your prep time, start taking orders a little after opening, pause online orders for a while, or close the business temporarily.
Hourly online order limits
Cap how many online orders and items you accept in each hour of each day, so a rush doesn't overload the kitchen.
Manage your Google listing from Selflane
Connect your Google Business Profile in the Back Office to update your description, hours, special hours, website and phone on Google, post a closing-early notice for today, and read and reply to Google reviews.
Staff roles and manager permissions
Set up departments and job roles, choose which roles have manager permission, and pick which POS actions need a manager.
- Each day can have more than one opening, e.g. lunch and dinner with a break between.
- Copy a day's hours to the next day, or apply them to Monday–Friday in one step.
- Special hours cover a single date or a date range: either open with different hours, or closed.
- A status line shows today's hours, prep time and delayed start, and a warning when ordering is paused or the business is temporarily closed.
- Every six months you're asked to confirm your hours are still current; holiday reminders also appear ahead of upcoming holidays.
- From the POS: More › Hours lists the weekly hours and special hours. Tap a day to set it open or closed with up to three sessions in 15-minute steps; tap + to add a special day (today or later); swipe left on a special day to Delete it or Copy to Next Day. The same screen holds online prep time and Pause Online.
- If your business requires a manager for POS app settings, opening Hours on the POS asks for a manager's passcode, unless the signed-in staff member already has manager permission.
